Download and install VirtualBox from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
Download and import Zend OVA image
Refer http://www.zend.com/en/products/server/virtualbox
While starting the appliance I got below error message:
Shutdown machine and boot again.
Now launch VirtualBox and start the appliance.
Login as root/zend1234
Launch Zend admin console - http://localhost:10081
Accept agreement, provide trial license details
XE database is installed but not configured out of box.
Run below command:
#/etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure
Download and import Zend OVA image
Refer http://www.zend.com/en/products/server/virtualbox

VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration has been enabled, but is not operational. Your 64-bit guest will fail to detect a 64-bit CPU and will not be able to boot.Go to virtulization section in BIOS settings and enable VT-x.
Please ensure that you have enabled VT-x/AMD-V properly in the BIOS of your host computer.
Shutdown machine and boot again.
Now launch VirtualBox and start the appliance.
Login as root/zend1234
Launch Zend admin console - http://localhost:10081
Accept agreement, provide trial license details
Configure XE database
XE database is installed but not configured out of box.
Run below command:
#/etc/init.d/oracle-xe configure
This will configure on-boot properties of Oracle Database 11g Express
Edition. The following questions will determine whether the database should
be starting upon system boot, the ports it will use, and the passwords that
will be used for database accounts. Pressto accept the defaults.
Ctrl-C will abort.
Specify the HTTP port that will be used for Oracle Application Express [8080]:
Specify a port that will be used for the database listener [1521]:
Specify a password to be used for database accounts. Note that the same
password will be used for SYS and SYSTEM. Oracle recommends the use of
different passwords for each database account. This can be done after
initial configuration:
Confirm the password:
Do you want Oracle Database 11g Express Edition to be started on boot (y/n) [y]:
Starting Oracle Net Listener...Done
Configuring database...Done
Starting Oracle Database 11g Express Edition instance...Done
Installation completed successfully.
